Emma Pruen is the Green Party Families and Children Spokesperson and sits on the National Executive of the Green Party, with responsibility for Internal Communications.

Previously she was Communications Manager (Target Constituencies and General Election leadership Team) on Caroline Lucas MP's historic and award winning General Election campaign.

Prior to this she ran a natural lifestyle magazine called Wave. Wave was distributed through independent health and eco outlets across the South East for 10 years, serving the community with ground breaking features on ethical and environmental issues.

She has also been a freelance journalist writing on ethical and organic issues for national magazines; Production Manager on various film projects, including in 2010 launching My Ancestry Films, researching, filming and presenting family history programmes.

Emma Pruen has
worked voluntarily in Communications roles (from activist to Directorship level) for a number of children's charities.

She has been a Parish Councillor, has sat on the District Association of Local Councils and stood as Green Party candidate for District Council election, mostly recently gaining the highest individual share of the Green vote in the district.
